Here's a new thing: Compostable and biodegradable plant pots, which enable you to drop your new plant into the ground without having to remove the "plastic" casing. The casing is actually made from cornstarch & other biodegradable ingredients.
The idea is that this is an alternative to plastic pots (which use oil and can't be disposed of), and peat pots (which use up peat bogs).
These pots have slits at the bottom to allow water to drain, and a centre hole to push out your seedlings if you prefer to remove them from the pot before planting. Note that they are aren't as rigid as a regular plastic pot.
Pack of 25 Pots. (The packaging is also biodegradable)
