Seed Potatoes
Our final supply of organic seed potatoes is due in next week. We will have a very limited number of Aran Victory, Cara and Colleen. If you would like to reserve some please call in or get in touch asap.Seed compost
We have organic seed compost back in stock for those who have been looking for it recently. We also have organic potting compost, seed trays and of course a selection of organic seeds from Brown Envelope Seeds and The Organic Centre.Eco-friendly products
The OOOOBY Store sells eco friendly products - toiletries, cosmetics and cleaning items - and keeps prices as low as possible. All of these can be found using the Product Search page of our website, or contact us if you're looking for something you don't see there.We also can refill your empty bottles with Lilly's eco friendly washing up liquid and laundry liquid. New bottles are of course also available which you can then bring back for a refill. We are now stocking Lilly's, an Irish-made alternative to Ecover, but both are available through pre-order.

Sat 10 April (tomorrow): Crafts Circle from 2-4pm at the OOOOBY Store (€5 incl coffee/tea)Mon 12 Apr: WOW Wicklow Transition Group is showing The Future of Food, a groundbreaking documentary released in 2004, distils the complex technology and key issues surrounding the troubling changes happening in the food system today genetically engineered foods, patenting, and the corporatization of food into terms people can easily understand. It empowers consumers to understand the consequences of their food choices on our future. Please download the poster and put it up where people will see it! 8pm upstairs in Ernie's, Market Square, Wicklow Town. (€2)
Sat 17 April: GIY (Grow It Yourself) gardening group from 1-2pm at the OOOOBY Store (free)
Mon 19 April: Mike is teaching Natural Beekeeping for Beginners, a one day intro to bees and beekeeping, with a strong emphasis on heritage/natural approaches. Whether you want to keep bees or just have an interest in them, you'll learn more about these social insects, their long history with humans and current health issues. Most of the day we will not work with live bees, but depending on numbers and the weather we may visit the apiary at Carraig Dulra. Held at the OOOOBY Store and Carraig Dulra organic farm - book through The Organic Centre (€90 incl organic lunch)
Wed 21 Apr: The Comple Organic Garden Course, a month-to-month guide to organic food growing. This month's session covers Growing in polytunnels, spring planting and companion plants, pricking out. Sat 24 April: Cuba Nite! Discover the positive and creative way one community has already dealt with the transition to lower-impact living. Film showing of The Power of Community, followed by a celebration of local food, music and dancing. More information and tickets from WOW Wicklow Transition. Tickets also available at the OOOOBY Store. Held at the Wicklow Rugby Club (€15 per person, €25 per couple)
