Mike Cahn

Mike is an amateur beekeeper, currently in the process of moving from conventional to more natural beekeeping methods. 

Apart from bees, his special interest is in helping children and adults understand the technology they rely on, whether it's their car, their computer, fire, or how food gets to the table, with an emphasis on using the simplest and clearest ways to do things wherever possible, even when it's less efficient. He has a sciences, technology and business background, and integrates this with an appreciation for the non-logical, non-scientific.

He is co-founder of Carraig Dulra and manages the farm's infrastructure including rainwater collection, solar panels, water pump, fences, sheds, paths, etc.
